Lokomotiv Moscow head coach Mikhail Galaktionov shared his thoughts on midfielder Alexei Batrakov’s leadership qualities following the team’s 1-0 victory over Baltika in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League. Batrakov missed the match due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Lokomotiv Moscow secured a narrow win with a 1-0 scoreline, as Rudenko scored the only goal in the 4th minute. Andrade was sent off in the 12th minute.

“Anton [Mitryushkin] is the captain and a leader. Alexei Batrakov, on the other hand, is the player who makes the difference. The more such players we have in the starting lineup, the more ideas we can implement,” Galaktionov said, as reported by Championat correspondent Vladimir Chetverik.
This season, Batrakov has appeared in 35 matches, scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €25 million.

Mitryushkin brings Lokomotiv closer to RPL bronze as Baltika officially fails this spring.
